Here's What to Dotoggle arrow icon

You'll be reading a lot in med school: lecture slides, articles, notes, all of it packed with terms you haven't met yet. The AMBOSS Chrome Extension lets you decode any of it on the spot. Highlight a term on almost any webpage and the explanation pops up right there, no new tab, no losing your place.

You'll do this in Chrome on your computer.

Set it up:

  1. Open the AMBOSS extension page in the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Click "Add to Chrome," then "Add extension" to confirm.
  3. Pin it to your toolbar so it's always one click away. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome, then the pin next to AMBOSS.
  4. Sign in with your AMBOSS account when asked, so the extension links to your library.

That's it. Highlight any medical term on a page, click the AMBOSS icon, and the explanation comes to you.

If you get stuck or want more detail, the links below have you covered.
