Hello, we are AMBOSS, and we have begun the search for a Senior Field Sales Manager to join our team, working from their home office. Ideal candidates should reside in the western time zone preferably near a large airport with the ability to travel for customer calls and to international locations for sales meetings. This role will contribute greatly to our goal of becoming the primary resource among US medical students and establish AMBOSS in the US Clinical market.

Students and practicing physicians have real-time access to answers to complex questions they face every day in their curriculum and in the clinic.

What you will do:

  • Improve market share within the territory by identifying departments/business lines in target accounts using competitive products and engaging the client account at the management and executive level to identify business issues.
  • Maintain and grow existing customer business as well as drive new accounts to meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals
  • Contribute to new product development and identify gaps per client requirements; working with product managers to translate unmet client requirements into business and functional specifications.
  • Work with other Sales Personnel and Sales Management to address account/channel conflicts in a professional manner.
  • Develop an Annual Business Plan based on accurate pipeline predictions, Mid-Year business update, weekly reports and quarterly forecasts.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years B2B sales/account management experience with SaaS application in the U.S. Medical School Academic market.
  • Consultative sales approach with experience working independently with a minimum amount of oversight.
  • Excellent facilitation skills and ability to influence
  • B2B sales experience, including formal sales education/training and/or internal sales experience including demonstrated experience with the following:
  • Developing and qualifying prospect lists.
  • Consistent achievement of quota and goals.
  • Developig and executing business plans and forecasts.
  • Making in-person presentations to prospective clients to explain the business' products and services and their alignment with client needs.
  • Prior Medical Education, test-prep product and medical industry sales experience.

Travel requirements: Domestic travel to client sites 40-60% of time, in territory. Some international travel for Sales meetings.
