What is a group discount? 

A group discount is when classmates form a group to purchase AMBOSS access at a discounted rate, dependent on the number of people in the group. Groups can have anywhere from five to over 100 people.

Please get in touch with us directly at groups@amboss.com if you would like more information on setting up a group discount for students at your school. Students who help organize group discounts can earn their own additional discounts, too!
 

Will my AMBOSS access start immediately after purchase? 

No.  Immediately after purchase, you should be sent an email containing an access code.  Your access will only start once you have activated this code in your AMBOSS account.  If you cannot find this email, please check your spam/junk inbox. The code looks like AMBOSS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

To activate your code, log in to your AMBOSS account and click the "Account" icon then "Redeem code" on the left side menu. Alternatively, you can enter your code straight away by following this link:  https://www.amboss.com/us/account/accessChooser

By activating this code, your access to AMBOSS will begin.

 

Can I start my AMBOSS access later? 

Your group discount access code will expire a month following purchase. If you need to activate your access code later than this, please contact us groups@amboss.com.

 

I can't access AMBOSS, but I did purchase access! 

Purchasing a group discount is separate from creating an AMBOSS account.

First, please make sure you have created an AMBOSS account. You can register here: https://www.amboss.com/us/account/register. You will be emailed a verification link after registration.

The next step is to activate the access code sent to you following your group discount purchase.

Immediately after purchase, you should be sent an email containing an access code. If you cannot find this email, please check your spam/junk inbox.

You'll find your code under "Order Summary". It looks like AMBOSS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

To activate your code, log in to your AMBOSS account and click the "Account" icon then "Redeem code" on the left side menu. Alternatively, you can enter your code straight away by following this link:  https://www.amboss.com/us/account/accessChooser

By activating this code, your access to AMBOSS will begin.

My payment won't process/my credit card keeps declining 

If your otherwise valid credit card isn’t being accepted by our shop and you are sure you have entered your details correctly, there are a couple of checks you can make.

Please note, we currently do not accept Discover credit cards.

  1. Are your details being automatically filled in the browser? Sometimes shop payments fail because auto-filled text is not being recognized. If your contact details are being auto-filled, please try to use an incognito window or an alternative browser without auto-filling and make sure you manually enter your details.

  2. Give your bank a quick call to authorize the payment. Some banks decline specific payments for an unknown reason. Generally, the problem can be solved by getting in touch with your bank to identify the problem and directly authorize the payment.

  3. If the above options are unsuccessful, do you have a PayPal account? We also have PayPal available as a payment method at check-out. If you have a PayPal account, it could be worth trying this option if your bank is unable to help.  

If you are still unable to complete your purchase using the options above, please email us with full-screen screenshots showing the error you are experiencing, and the steps you have taken to check your purchase.

 

Student Life "until graduation" access 

To have your Student Life ‘until graduation’ package extended until graduation, please first activate the access code you were sent immediately after purchase. This will add the minimum two years of access on to your account.

Once you have activated your code, please email us directly with proof of your graduation date (month and year). We will then manually extend your access to have you covered until graduation.

 

My code has expired/isn't working! 

If your group discount code will not activate or has expired, please get in touch with our team directly.

 

I missed the deadline, can I still participate? 

If you missed the group discount sign-up or purchase deadline, please contact our team directly.
